Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Providence, RI)

Northwind Vista Manufacturing Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to customer orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
