Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Portland, OR)

Lumen Ashton Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Portland, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 560 people based in Portland. What you will do • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Portland. • We reply to every applicant.
