Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Pittsburgh, PA)

Lumen Sable Early Learning is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for family communication, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Keep stock linked to family communication at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
