Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Phoenix, AZ)

Fernwood Harbor Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Phoenix, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 765 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
