Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Phoenix, AZ)

Amberfield Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Phoenix. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to dock schedules at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
