Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Omaha, NE)

We are growing our team at Nova Quill Freight and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep stock linked to customer tracking at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer tracking. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
