Lumen Forge Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for loads and lanes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Omaha. • We reply to every applicant.
