Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Oakland, CA)

Fernwood Ivory Hospitality runs guest-focused properties across the Oakland area, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to supplier orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support supplier orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
