Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Oakland, CA)

Lumen Maple Press Group is a printer and publisher in Oakland serving local and national clients. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 19 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Keep stock linked to proofing at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support proofing. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
