Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Oakland, CA)

Northwind Drift Facilities Associates is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for supply orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to supply orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support supply orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Oakland. • We reply to every applicant.
