Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (New Orleans, LA)

Highbridge Loom Pharma Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for quality documentation, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to quality documentation at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support quality documentation. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
