Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Minneapolis, MN)

Fernwood Pine Markets Group is a Minneapolis retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Keep stock linked to online orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support online orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
