Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Minneapolis, MN)

Harborlight Iron Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Minneapolis plant, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
