Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Minneapolis, MN)

Stonegate Basin Foods Partners makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Minneapolis, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 962 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
