Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Milwaukee, WI)

Fernwood Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Milwaukee. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 440 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to production lines at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production lines. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
