Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Memphis, TN)

Summit Meadow Markets is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for promotions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 235 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to promotions at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
