Nova Nest Manufacturing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to scrap and rework at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support scrap and rework. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
