Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Kansas City, MO)

Redstone Junction Housing Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for maintenance stores, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to maintenance stores at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
