Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Jacksonville, FL)

Clearpath Yarrow Civic Services Group provides shared administrative services to local governments around Jacksonville. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to procurement at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support procurement. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jacksonville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
