Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Jackson, MS)

Lumen Lantern Auto Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for vehicle inspections, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to vehicle inspections at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support vehicle inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
