Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Indianapolis, IN)

Silverline Kestrel Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Indianapolis, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to maintenance stores at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support maintenance stores. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Indianapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
