Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Houston, TX)

Summit Willow Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Houston, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Keep stock linked to subcontractor invoices at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support subcontractor invoices. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
