Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Cross Hospitality Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to food costs at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support food costs. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
