Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Honolulu, HI)

Silverline Junction Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Honolulu plant, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to print quotes at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support print quotes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Honolulu, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
