Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Bright Meadow Markets and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 325 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Keep stock linked to online orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support online orders. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
