Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Hartford, CT)

Amberfield Beacon Press Partners produces print and digital publications in Hartford. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 785 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to print quotes at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support print quotes. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
