Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Silverline Rowan Freight Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. We reward reliability. What you will do • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
