Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Hartford, CT)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Haven Manufacturing and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 891 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
