Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Grand Rapids, MI)

Cedar Maple Manufacturing is a Grand Rapids manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 211 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to tooling at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support tooling. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
