Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Grand Rapids, MI)

Stonegate Auto Group operates automotive service and parts businesses around Grand Rapids, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to parts orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support parts orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
