Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Grand Rapids, MI)

Redstone Forge Farms supplies farm and food customers across the Grand Rapids region. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to seasonal crews at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
