Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Fresno, CA)

Northwind Corner Housing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for repair requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to repair requests at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support repair requests. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
