Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Fresno, CA)

Redstone Quarry Freight Group is a Fresno logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
