Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Fresno, CA)

Westbrook Lantern Auto Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for service appointments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 552 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to service appointments at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support service appointments. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Fresno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
