Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Detroit, MI)

Nova Wilder Early Learning is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for classroom supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to classroom supplies at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support classroom supplies. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
