Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Detroit, MI)

Clearpath Yarrow Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Detroit, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
