Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Detroit, MI)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Cobalt Pharma and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. People move between science and operations roles. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to batch records at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support batch records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
