Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Des Moines, IA)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Stone Farms Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 122 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep stock linked to field records at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support field records. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
