Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Des Moines, IA)

Harborlight Summit Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Des Moines. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 446 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to lease compliance at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support lease compliance. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
