Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Des Moines, IA)

Cedar Meridian Health is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for clinic supplies, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to clinic supplies at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support clinic supplies. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
