Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Des Moines, IA)

Foxglove Umber Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Des Moines. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. • Experience with an ERP system.
