Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Des Moines, IA)

Stonegate Willow Construction is a Des Moines contractor with project managers, trades and support staff. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to materials orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support materials orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Des Moines. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
