Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Cincinnati, OH)

We are growing our team at Highbridge Vale Manufacturing Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 468 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
