Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Cincinnati, OH)

Bright Mill Foods is a Cincinnati food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to customer specifications at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer specifications. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
