Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Cincinnati, OH)

Cedar Mill Foods is a Cincinnati food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Cincinnati. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
