Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Cincinnati, OH)

Harborlight Orchard Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Cincinnati. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Cincinnati. What you will do • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Cincinnati, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
