Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Chicago, IL)

Northwind Thistle Early Learning Group runs childcare centres in Chicago caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Keep stock linked to meal programmes at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support meal programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
