Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Chicago, IL)

Highbridge Loom Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Chicago, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to family communication at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support family communication. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
