Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Charlotte, NC)

Nova Bright Manufacturing is a Charlotte manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to machine downtime at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support machine downtime. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Charlotte. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
