Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Charlotte, NC)

Harborlight Timber Early Learning runs childcare centres in Charlotte caring for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to licensing records at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support licensing records. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
